I think i'm in shock
I can't believe they had KELLY close the show, with all those big named artists they had her close the show, that's crazy... I guess she is big named now, it all seems weird to me because i've always loved kelly's music, just cause she won a couple vma's and performed didn't change anything in my book.. But i'm sure it's one of those performances that people are going to tear apart because she was shouting her vocals, but i look at it this way: She had so much energy, she was jumping and being rained on and ANY other performer that was bringing that much energy to the stage would for SURE be lipsyncing to make sure there performance sounded good. Besides what other Pop act would sing in the middle of the crowd as it was raining and start massivly head banging?? Only kelly would let her hair go crazy and her makeup all run down her face... I mean I think she took a risk on how she changed up her performance and some people will absolutly hate it but atleast she was live and she moved around the stage and you could actually tell what she was saying.... So i thought she totally ROCKED!! But i never thinks she does bad so i guess my opinion doesn' mean much. It's cool though because i've followed her career since Thankful, and she just keeps getting better and more and more people keep noticing.. And eventhough everyone still says her career will be over in 5 years or less, i'm sorry you can't get me to belive that, i won't til i see it...
Kelly Highlights of the night
-Announcing in her speech that she didn't have a posse so she brought her friend Ashley up
-winning for best pop video and yet couldn't find the right way to the stage, that was clearly pointed out to her.. So she dodges the camera guy, almost runs into kirsten dunst, and then continues to dip under the water things... And the last one she could of easily walked around, but nope she just went under it..
-Her performance.... JUMP................
-walking past the crowd and almost getting pulled off the stage
-jumping into the crowd singing in the rain, falling off the platform, but she keeps singing like nothing happened
-and then to end it all the crowd repeat with the high notes at the end..
I know that alot of people still hate her and thinks she sucks, but what other FEMALE artist was there that did anything better then her, you can't deny it's she's at the top of what she does, and really thats all that matters..
