School............. And other ramblings......
Well school starts up again in a couple of days... I'm staying at my aunts right now and we hooked up the wireless internet to her cable connection and so now my internet is so fast, it's awesome!!! I truly love it... You don't have to wait ten hours for a page to load..
So i'm done working for a few weeks, which i am so excited about because i got so rundown working 50-60 hours a week at the hospital. I really do like my job, but it's like a rollarcoaster, you just never know what's going to happen... I worked this past weekend and you can tell it was a full moon, i mean you don't think about this stuff, til you work at a hospital and you see what comes in that place. Plus our hospital is so small that you know everything that goes on and your apart and have to handle every situation in some way. We had this guy come in on a code and he was 34, he didn't make it and his wife came in, who happened to know the lady i was working with. She looked at her and said, "Someone woke me up, told me to get here, said my husband is dead, is he dead, can you tell me if my husband is dead." And then and there you have to flat out lie, saying sorry I don't know.... Then you just have to watch as that lady waits for the nurse knowing that her husband in fact is dead, and it was unexpected and he was only 34 years old. There is a big difference i've learned from an expected death and a unexpected death. Over the 4th of July weekend we had a 12 year old boy come into the hospital who had got into a 4 wheeler accident, he hit uneven ground and went flying off his 4 wheeler.... He was 12 years old and was NOT wearing a helmet, he would of most likly survived if he would of wore his helmet. And as each family member, one by one came in, they screamed and cryed and just stood in shock, his life was over before it was ever started. I'm not sure if i just think about things but seeing something like that effects me very much, it gets carved into my head and you just learn to never look past the little things such as wearing a helmet or just never taking the life you have for granted...
Sooooooooooooo anyways....... I'm tired.. I have to get up early to go take placement tests an get my stuff set for school, so i'm off to bed.
