Water Main Leak! *sigh*
So we had my patient and friend Robert come over to the house tonight to look at a few problems around the house, a leaking sink, a tub that wouldn't drain, and a muddy spot in the yard that might be a leaking pipe. Well the sink and tub were easy fixes. The yard was indeed a leak of the water main, that in the process of digging out we hit with a chisel making a bigger leak, so now our water is turned off at the house. We dug in the mud for about 3 hours, borrowed a shovel, pick axe, and axe from neighbors and got MUDDY! We didn't make a huge amount of progress either because our yard is CLOGGED with ROOTS. We are actually going to pay an underling from Robert's company $100.00 to work for us tomorrow and dig out the hole, then after work Robert will come over again with the new piping and fix our water line leak and I will have water again! I had to go shower at the neighbors because I looked like a drowned mud puppy. =-P Sebastian stayed away and stayed clean.
