Pictures from a Pagan-Christian Ceremony! There aren't that many of these around.

Well, first the Bride entered with her father. I love the little top-hat veil.

Here is the happy couple at the Christian portion of the ceremony - done for Groom's side of the family.

Then here is he Pagan portion of the ceremony done to honor the Bride's actual belief system. The handfasting began today, and the 7 cords represent 6 vows/promises to each other and the seventh is the blessing cord. They did the traditional dances prior to the ceremony as they will remained tied for the rest of the evening, until the marriage is consummated actually. They will be keeping the cords for the future, I believe it may at some point be buried with a tree they plant, but I'm not sure on that point.

This is Sebastian and John all dressed up. Sebastian was a Groomsman and John helped lead the Pagan ceremony with Amanda, their Celebrant.

Finally, here are Sebastian and I all spiffied up (I was Maid of Honor!)...

and our beautiful Argentininian roommate, Daniela (she caught the bouquet - kind of a 3 way win, but she was at least 6 inches taller than the two other girls who got thier hands on it).
