Happy New Year everyone!
I know, I'm a horrible moderator....
Anyway, like everyone else in the world, I've made my New Year's resolutions and they have to do with my health and fitness. I actually started a little late...because I couldn't really go to the gym until my daughter started school. So...today was the big day.
Over the holidays I ate a lot, exercised very little....and gained about 3 pounds. (5 according to my doctor's scale...however, I was wearing my coat when they weighed me)
Well, today I went to the gym. Oh...and I forgot...for the last week, I've been doing sit-ups! One of my goal's is to get back to doing 200 sit-ups a night, like I used to in high school. (Why did I ever give that up?) Well, I'm only doing about 50 a night so far, but WOW! I feel really great! It's like the core of my body feels stronger and I can feel the muscles building. It's awesome.
What I ate/drank today:
1/2 bowl cereal
cup of orange juice
16 oz bottle of water
32 oz iced tea (no sugar! yay!)
3 yogurt pretzels
4 California Rolls
32 oz. iced tea (no sugar)
6 yogurt pretzels
1 snack size Mr. Goodbar (bad, bad, bad!)
spoonfull of ice cream (bad, bad, bad!)
bowl of oatmeal - Plain with a little honey on it
I'm going to have tonight:
cup of yogurt
avocado
32 oz. Bottle of Water.
