Axel follows, and as soon as as they're alone in their room, Axel collapses to the floor, and starts shaking.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

Any anger Demyx had fades the instant he sees Axel like this, dropping down to his side and wrapping him up in the warmest embrace he can manage.

"I'm sorry." Demyx murmurs against Axel's hair, carding his fingers through it, kissing his face and just trying to show him he loves him.

He knows that Roxas was the one who made Axel feel like he had a heart, and him and Roxas were never on the best of terms.

Axel wraps his arms around Demyx, and just holds on.

Demyx continues kissing him, holding him, rocking him gently and humming soothing songs.

"Promise?" Axel asks. His hands tighten on Demyx. He needs. He wants. He just.

He makes another hurt sound.

"I promise." Demyx whispers against Axel's lips before kissing him, as hot and wet as he can, pulling Axel into his lap.

He doesn't know how else to make it better, and it hurts to see Axel this way.

Axel leans into it, and returns the kiss with desperate passion, and he still can't stop shaking.

If Demyx would stop to think about it he would realize that he was shaking as well, but he can't stop right now, holding Axel tight and tugging off the other's coat to kiss him and touch him and just be there.

"Get on the bed." Demyx says quietly once they need to break to breathe.

Axel nods, and manages to get to his feet, and stumble to the bed.

He couldn't have gone much farther.

Demyx stands a second later, making sure he makes it there and that he's quickly removed of any and all clothing in short order. He directs Axel to lay back, so Demyx can sit between his legs and kiss and nuzzle at his stomach. "Do you want to?" he asks, hands never stopping as they run over Axel's skin.

"I always want you," Axel replies, reaching out to tangle a hand in the hair at the base of Demyx's neck.

That's really all the encouragement Demyx needs. His mouth is over Axel's length a moment later, suddenly wet hands sliding down and behind it.

They've never done that before, at least, not that way, but. It made Demyx feel so good, made him forget everything else. Maybe it'll help Axel.
