Ladies and gentlemen, the woman you've all been waiting for, may I present Rachel Gray. Rachel runs into Xaldin and Xigbar. Should I say drunk Xaldin and Xigbar and wackiness ensues, as well as plot and promises. Rachel is a good lady to know. There is now a Plan.
Later on this month, for the first time since Demyx, Xaldin, and Xigbar came in, someone finally has Gummi Bears - like, the candy. In the world their from, that's space ship component parts. Also, I dare anyone to read this thread - seriously read this thread and picture it in your head while it's happening, and not be in giggles by the time Xaldin informs Angela that he thinks King Mickey has been 'mislead'.
Meanwhile Demyx has touched base (accidentally and not entirely willingly) with a friend of his own who offers him shelter in her world. Demyx hesitates then ends up taking it since he doesn't feel safe in the bar with Sora, Riku and company there. He makes himself comfortable and meets Lissar's husband and new father figure for a little while while he recovers.
Back in the bar Xaldin makes a new friend and takes him for a ride, though that doesn't stop him from noticing he hasn't seen Demyx around recently. No one has yet explained the notes system to the boy and he's TOTALLY missed his curfew. Some time after griping with Xigbar about the current turn of events and being all ♥ at him, Ace goes outside to read some COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE WORKS OF FICTION SHUP UP MAN. She ends up running into Xaldin instead. That same day, the hitherto absent Yrael has returned and while rumors of his and Axel's relationship have been greatly exaggerated, he's still not the sensable type when it comes to his friends. Dick.
Tired of Xaldin getting all the action, that damn bicycle, Xigbar runs into Hot!Chick's husband AGAIN, though notably less sober this time. Yes, that's possible. No, best if you don't think about how. He also runs into Lissar who very politely reads him the riot act, and ceiling cat yrael is watching u masturbate. him be sloshed.
Axel and Spoon get some new duds for Axel as the fetish-gear coat is a wee bit recognizable when you want to hide from the very organization that that's a uniform for (yes, over a year of being here and this is apparently the first time that's crossed anyone's mind. THE HELL. Tim Gunn would be ashamed of ALL OF YOU), Axel still gets noticed by Yrael and they chat a bit, including Axel telling Yrael to keep his kitty nose out of it. However, before he can prove that the phrase "like hearding cats" exists for a reason, Zuko slides in like a shot and steals three bases, making this a HOME RUN OF NOT GETTING IT. ... ... ... You know I'm trying to think of another way to put that now that I've gone through the trouble of getting it striked out, but that's pretty much accurate.
If that was all that wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately for Axel XALDIN SEES WHAT U DID THAR. Despite initial intentions of some well-intentioned slaughter, they come to an agreement instead. Axel tries his best to help him, and he doesn't get hunted anymore. EVERYONE WINS!
In celebration... XALDIN AND XIGBAR GET DRUNK! AGAIN! And make Axel sound like a creepy pedo to Justin. Hey, I'm pretty sure slander wasn't listed under the "don't"s for them. And technically it isn't untrue...
Meanwhile, Spoon asks his daughter Penny to help cheer Axel up a bit, since he's been having a wild and crazy time lately. Penny doesn't quite get it, and hilarity ensues from the misunderstanding.
Sobering up a bit, Xaldin gives his report of what Axel told him to Xigbar. Remember, people, Xigbar technically outranks Xaldin. Shortly thereafter, when the boys are still sober, Rachel comes to talk to them again and more things are hashed out in regards to their deal.
Demyx comes back to bar for the first time after leaving to rest in Lissar's world and of course runs into the boss right away. LUUUCYYYYY... Actually Xaldin just kind of sadfaces at him as much as Nobodies can, and Demyx proves that he really is messed up. He at least gets one zinger in with the "comparatively kind" line.
While thinking things over, Xaldin has another run-in with Ace which he is far far too sober for. For the first time Ace gets to hear exactly why Axel's organization is so angry with him (hint: The answer is not lack of a two-week notice). Unfortunately this puts Ace on the defensive and she goes into the conversation proverbial guns blazing, not really willing to listen to any more explanation on the goings-on of Axel's time before Milliways. This would be all well and good as the worst Xaldin would get would be a dull headache from it all, but unfortunately Demyx chose that time to return from his recovery to check in and let his superiors know where he was. That's when things go downhill. Hurt as he is, Demyx is even less stable than normal and is sick and tired of people assuming the worst because of what the are and completely loses it, causing Xaldin to ditch Ace and drag Demyx off for some oceanic therapy. I am regreting belatedly not having Demyx rip his coat off to show off his lance scars and burn marks, since the kid really did have the shit visibly kicked out of him for Axel or from him at that point. Also, I like having Demyx lose his clothes. SHH.
Xaldin makes a storm of things with Atlantica for a while before Demyx drops into an abbysal plain to curl up for a bit. Since he really needs to talk to people and be back at the bar he reluctantly heads back there, meeting Pan in the forest while he waits and explaining the story to him.
Determined to not be beaten out by Zuko, Yrael makes a good go at Missing The Point when speaking to Xaldin, but try as he might he just doesn't top the previous holder of the gold and only manages "mildly annoying". It's okay, Yrael, I still believe in you. You're my forever girl.
Back inside, Belar receives a note. ... Remember the notes? ♥ His conversation with Xaldin is civil bordering on pleasant, however, and good times were had. Yrael and Spoon also discuss the situation at hand, but like typical guys the conversation turns to tits in one way or another. This one would be 'or another'.
Xaldin also meets up with Yuuno Scrya who is OMG ADORABLE. And I'm sure plot things happen too. OHMYGOSH SO ADORABLE. Yeah, yeah, there's plot stuff here OH GOSH LOOK AT THOSE ICONS LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS DONCHA JUST WANT TO CUDDLE HIM AND- *cough* right I'm done. After that plot (SO CUTE) stuff happens Xaldin attempts to explain what not having a heart means to Nathan with mixed success.

Despite having been warned to stay away from Axel just days ago, Demyx none the less immediately drops down next to number VIII and gets up to old rule-breaking tricks with him.
Even though his way won't work for III and Company, Axel still makes good on his deal and starts asking around a bit for potential ways to enhearten a Nobody.
