I am attending Elementary Convention (by Starfury) next weekend and therefore will be meeting the delightful Benedict Cumberbatch. Another good reason for a spending spree! Pics, thoughts, anecdotes and answers will be posted here. I have a question from Arwen Kester of Middle Earth News so if I do manage to ask one during the Q&A, I've decided to take that one.
I will be passing him a note with usernames on of the people who couldn't be there and wished to be so please, leave a comment if you want to be included. Someone on Twitter is asking people to donate to a charity as that's what Benedict asked for, rather than giving him gifts.
If you're going too, let me know!!! It would be lovely to high five! I've only just seen Sherlock and I watched it from beginning to end a few weeks ago. Really want to meet him as have not met any of the Hobbit cast yet :) Even though it's a Sherlock con, I feel extremely pleased that I'm going to at least be in the same room as Smaug/The Necromancer!!!
