Have just been hired as medical staff for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
I was told I am overqualified, which I am - were this any other school. But honestly, the reports of injuries at here at terrifying. I'm not sure how they got by so long with just a mediwitch.
I am worried about leaving Wilhelm in Hogsmeade most of the time. He is accustomed to going without me for several hours, but...not being able to Apperate to him is difficult. I will need to speak with Headmaster Dumbledore about possibly setting up a direct floo connection to my house there. The staff quarters at Hogwarts are...acceptable, I suppose. But I prefer to have my own garden for some of the potions ingredients, someplace students aren't going to track through. For that matter, I prefer to have my own laboratory. It would be more convenient to just stay in Hogsmeade and be Floo'd for emergencies or come in during class hours.
Surely the students can't injure themselves too badly when they're supposed to be in bed?
