[A rather handsome -- Or at least he thinks so -- man is frowning at the screen. He looks rather serious, though he gives the impression he doesn't look serious very often. He still needs a little practice. Nonetheless, he sounds fairly unamused.]
This is Captain James T. Kirk from the Federation Starship Enterprise. I've apparently been transported here against my will, which I'd guess is not something unique to myself. I'm not exactly sure who else is out here -- [He glances around, and frowns.] -- But I would appreciate it if anyone wanted to get in contact with me.
That aside, whatever anyone could tell me about this place would be greatly appreciated. I'm not very good at being the new kid. [Well, he's fairly good at it, but he doesn't ever plan on being uninformed for long.]
Does anyone know how I can get home?
[He hopes that he's right, and this message gets out to some more or less friendly sources. If not, well, at least he'll have learned something.]
