[Personality] Celty is a very mysterious character. At first sight, she seems to show a form of fright. Being a being to make anyone stare curiously or in shock. She is full of mystery as she is unable to speak, leaving her motions of her helmet as well as her hands and body speak for her. She is usually very calm and composed, at the same time can be very very serious and will do whatever she needs to do in order to gain information on how to retrieve her lost head. No one knew much about her, just that she was the Black Rider or Headless Rider, roaming around through the streets of Ikebukuro doing various jobs. Most mistaken her as a man, dangerous and simply not human. So of course simply dangerous and intimidating made most fear her.
However, to those that actually get the chance to know her, they can see she isn’t all that she appears to be. Rumors will always be rumors. While she is calm and composed, she is also kind and even on a level of friendly. If anyone tries to converse with her, she isn’t at all rude as to brush them off or ignore them. Even when it comes to questions, such as asking what’s under her helmet, she’s use to most reactions and will answer them either best she can or simply show whether they really want to know or not. When it comes to her friends, she can be very child-like, almost. She can be like an average, excited teenage girl. She can also be very caring and worry over others. An example is with Shizuo, in which case she will worry over his safety and try to help out as best she can for the man. When he begins to talk about his past, Celty shows that she is willing to simply be there to listen even if advice isn’t what someone is looking for but just a listener.
When Shizuo will get angry and frustrated suddenly, Celty shows she can panic as well as she does her best to try and calm him down from doing anything too reckless. While her high devotion and determination on finding her head has decreased by an amount, she proves to get frustrated or angered on information such as finding out who it was that had stolen her head in the first place. Celty has also shown fear when it comes to thoughts of being dissected by Shinra’s father which both are doctors or scientists curious of things not normal. Not to mention the Police, who had tried to cut her off and block her from escaping. Literally terrified out of her mind and is almost traumatized by the incident. She can be happy, but sometimes think too rash. She laughs, she cries, she gets scared, she gets angry; yes she’s not Human, but spending her years in Japan has very much made her act like one. It shows that she has feelings, emotions, and even though she doesn’t have her head she does dream too.
Her personality changes when it comes to Shinra, however. Not by much, but enough to take notice. Some even go to say she’s ‘Tsundere’ which is a term that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing their warm side over time. That is because when Shinra talks about his love for Celty, she becomes flustered or embarrassed and usually punches him in the gut to try and shut him up. Though over time she begins to warm up to the thought, and even as to be content and taken surprise of when he says meaningful things to her. At the same time, she can also be very protective of him. If one were to insult Shinra, she’ll go so far as to change her shadows into a sharp object and hold it at someone’s throat to show she will not allow such horrible talk of him. She is never one to really comment herself and is pretty sensitive when it comes to herself. She regrets a lot of her mistakes in the past, mostly due to the fact that she is unable to remember her memories from ages past. All in all, she'll do what she can for others as well as protect whoever needs it.
[Specialties/Abilities] The physical strength she possesses is above human, though not quite on par with Shizuo Heiwajima. She is also capable of manipulating a shadow-like, durable substance to form objects ranging from gloves to chariots at her will as well as her scythe.
[Affection] Any affection towards her will not be acknowledged, rather very likely to be ignored. This of course is different when it comes to Shinra who brings out different reactions from her. The most she'll do to anybody is hug or give a pat on the head, though only those limited to who she cares about or is seen needed to require one (such as if they need comfort.)
[Fighting] It is unknown whether you can actually kill Celty so I will say at the moment is is impossible. You may fight her, but injuring also seems to be hard to do since slicing at her will not bring upon any injuries. She isn't one to start fights but if one was to be made, she'll be sure to finish it.
[Other Permissions] Being that she doesn't have a 'head' in which a character may need to read minds from, I'll say that it's impossible to read Celty's mind. I don't mind them getting tiny hints or small fragments of thoughts, however. As it goes for breaking the fourth wall, go ahead? If you can. Anything else just ask!
[Other Facts] Celty isn't human but a Dullahan, a headless creature that lives in Ireland that holds her head under an arm. A Headless Rider. At the moment she doesn’t have her head in possession. Even though she doesn’t have a head, it appears her sensors work perfectly fine so she can “see, hear” but is unable to explain as to why. The only things she can’t do is smell and taste, it seems.
