General Update
-I voted for the first time outside of New York state today. This may be hard for most of you to even comprehend, but, to see a touchscreen voting panel instead of the lever thing I had grown up with was somewhat disturbing. However, it is efficient, and pretty idiot proof. They show you a paper receipt with all your choices on it. Polls dont close for another hour though, so, ill update you on how my choices did at some point.
- Couldnt be happier with the results around the country. Bob Casey in a landslide, Heath Shuler in the House, and its looking like blue control of Congress. Funny, nobody is questioning Howard Dean now, for standing up to the special interests, and running candidates with views that match most peoples. Mad props to the good doctor, for the revolution is on!.
- In case you missed it, Chevy Chase became the first person in Law and Order history to use the word "sugartits". He played a Mel Gibson type character, that said horrible things about Jewish people throughout the show, but, it took me the whole hour to hate his character. Come on, thats Clark Griswald, hes got to be kidding, right?
- My hockey gambling has been spastic. Win 8 in a row, then lose 5 out of 6. Nuts I tell you. Im up about $200 on the season. I could do worse than make an extra $200 a month.
- People were wearing Hartford Whaler jerseys on 3 different channels tonight.
- An open letter to Patrik Elias- I dont care how much money you make, you cant skate around every defenseman, every time. Use him as a screen, and let a wrist shot rip!!!!! There, I feel much better.
- A Cuban defector signed with the Pirates instead of the Yankees. Something has to be wrong with him. Lets hope its nothing more than mental problems.
- It has been 17 days since an electrical accident in the classroom. :-)
- People should be jumping up and down over the Wings 6 game win streak. They arent an elite team anymore, enjoy the great play while it lasts
