mmk, so my close friend who shall remain nameless is completely and utterly whipped by his parents. appaerntly a few nights ago his girlfriend was over past midnight and the two of them were watching tv. JUST watching tv. then his dad walkdownstairs and says and says she has to leave, no problems there. but then BOOM! right then and there a series of new rediculousley unfair rules are set in stone. my friend must now be home every freaking night at precisly 9:00 pm (the boy is freakin 18 years old!), his girlfriend is to leave the house not one second later than 11:00pm if she is permitted to be over at all, his girlfriend is not allowed to go to any of his sporting events or practices, and he is not allowed to spend the night at anyone's house. because of these actions, his "loving" girlfirend has in the course of 2 freaking days taken up smoking, and is consittering weather or not to break up with him.
i'm personally at a loss for words on what to tell him. he's a great guy and dosn't deserve any of the shit that he's presently going though.
so now i ask you this: what kind of advice would you give this guy? tell his folks to screw off? break up with his lady? i honestly don't know what to tell him and i'm really worried about him. any input you guys could give me will be greatly appreciated. mmk, now make with the brain-storming... please?
