My Dad is a Chinese mother.
I'm still kind of surprised he actually let me quit ballet. I'm sure he wouldn't if I had told him that the main reason I was quitting was that I wanted to focus on my academic studies, rather than the truth. Well it was slightly that I wanted to focus on school, but it was the cost, and the anxiety I felt when it came to performing in front of an audience.
