I just thought of Silver challenging Misty to a battle.
Or vice-versa but really considering his ego trips I think Silver would do the challenging

If she uses her HGSS team he'll lose (FRLG team he'd win because his pokemon at this point are in their mid to high thirties... I don't know what canon point you are on) this would be some time after the animal event.

Someone has to remind him that being a bitch to his pokemon makes him lose, and we've already established Misty is not pleased about his disrespect towards pokemon.
