Owww
Well, yesterday was a pretty good day. I got home after work, changed clothes, and ended up getting a call from a friend of mine who needed help moving in a NEW TV that he had just bought. It was a 32" monster that took two of us to carry from the car to the living room. After getting it there and hooking everything up, I showed my friend the new DVD player I had bought last week that could do EVERYTHING. He hooked it up to another television that he had in another room and was really impressed with all that it could do (DVD,CD,CD-R,CD-RW,JPEG,VCD,MP3,region-free). I got it at Wal-Mart for $50.00 and loved it myself, however I had tried to take it back yesterday after realizing that I didn't NEED two DVD players but needed the money back. After Wal-Mart refused to give me my money back, I decided to keep it. However, lo and behold, my friend was interested in purchasing it from me!! O_O He said he had been looking for another cheap DVD player for upstairs in his wife's sewing room and that mine seemed to be what he was looking for. So, we ended up helping each other out ^_^ It's amazing how things just come along when you least expect it and help out. So, I guess the only negative part of this story is that I now have a sprained wrist from moving that damn TV X_X
