Got two more teeth drilled and filled today, the worst ones yet. Apparently my very back right molar had a deep cavity that could have spawned the necessity for a root canal. Luckily, the dentist said he didn't think it would be necessary and simply filled the tooth up permanently. *whew* But man this thing aches. X_X; My mouth is sore not only from the drilling but from stretching my face all around, not to mention the novicane shots. Note to self: human faces do not stretch like those in anime. So, I'll probably be moaning all day (well not out loud) but hopefully this will subside a bit soon. I hate this. For those that didn't know, about 2 months ago I FINALLY went to the dentist after years of putting it off. Stupid me. So, when I went to have my checkup, they found 10 cavities. X_X; Yes, 10. I was horrified. I had never had a cavity in my life!!! So, for the past few months I've been going back to the dentist to have one or two teeth filled at a time. Now I have about 1 or 2 more thank God. Hopefully just one more visit. I feel terrible. I didn't think I had been THAT bad about eating sweet stuff and not brushing but now I know why they emphasize brushing all the time. I've learned my lesson. Anyhow, now I'm back at work, eating ramen and luckily am able to drink stuff without my tooth feeling like it's going to explode. I'm sure I won't regret having this done as I know what the consequences are.
