Decided to do a meme to get myself posting again. It's a day by day thing so hopefully I'll finish it.

1. I don't call you anymore because I liked you as more than a friend and didn't want to risk our friendship. I think I'm over it, but talking to you still feels awkward sometimes.
2. I'm sorry I hurt you. I was trying to figure out a lot things about myself and trying to grow up. You just got caught in the middle of my issues.
3. I used to get bored when you talked and often tuned you out.
4. I think, out of all the people I still talk to from high school, you're the only one with whom I never feel the need to be anyone but myself.
5. Sometimes, I can't believe we have known each other for over ten years, but I only met you in person two years ago. Although, our contact with each other has always been sporadic at best, I count your friendship as one of the few constants in my life. I've always appreciated the easy going and understanding nature of our friendship. :)
6. I still think about that weekend we spent together on my twenty-third birthday and I wonder sometimes if you do too.
7. Maybe it's an aspect I have to accept, because the other ninety-eight percent of the time when you don't make it awkward, you give me one of the most intellectually rewarding friendships I have.
8. It was only two weeks, but those two weeks have always been the standard that I've judged every other relationship against. It wasn't you, necessarily (though, I liked you a lot) and I've always been sorry we never had a chance to explore things further.
9. You are, to this day, my favorite boss.
10. It would never have worked. I didn't respect you intellectually.
