So who's not excited to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland?
With a trailer released today and with the magical Tim Burton at the helm leading his motley crew of character actors (Helena Bonham-Carter as the Red Queen), I couldn't help but be thrilled - finally a new take on a children's classic I could barely read. I attempted reading the book a couple of years ago but Lewis Carroll must have been seriously tripping when he wrote it - although my favorite form of word was invented by him (portmanteaux).
And so to Depp... who claims inspiration from all his characters attributed to some famous figure - Billy Bones a bit of Keith Richards, etc. I couldn't help but think who he was channeling this time, but when I saw him it was clear.
He's Vivenne Westwood...
