Wow.
Generally, when my mom calls me, she has some bad news. Some good news is in there most of the time. But it's mostly a bunch of horrible things having to do with my sister.
But today! She gave me nothing but good news.
My sister has been a drain on everything and everyone around her for years now. Jobless, hopeless, generally useless unless you consider the ability to be a complete asshole to everyone around her something useful.
We can safely say that it all rolls back to one thing - the dirtbag boyfriend she's been seeing the past few years. Everyone has known for years that he's on something and that she became a part of that. His house & his family have been on watch by the police before due to that sort of stuff.
Everyone has sort of felt that, without him around, she'd maybe have a chance to get back on the road to a normal way of life again.
And now she might get that chance.
Because he was just arrested.
What for, you ask?
Well, let's list them off!
1) Third degree felony for possession of meth
2) Possessing drug paraphernalia
3) Possession of a concealed weapon (which violates his parole)
4) Driving without a license
He's being held without bond.
So that's pretty awesome.
Also, she let me know that someone is coming to my house tomorrow to give us cable. She said to me, "I just felt so bad every time you told me that you didn't have cable. I had to do something. It's just so barbaric."
So, since my mom doesn't want me living like a barbarian, I'll be having free cable starting tomorrow! Pretty excellent.
And... that's all. Band practice soon. We're playing Mayor's Cup in July! It's gonna be pretty mega. More details on that as they come.
