So I wrote something that I find amusing enough to post. Basically, background story:
So, I was invited to a holiday party by my Mazemaker friends on Dec. 18. Unfortunately, that is the day that I had already agreed to be on candres's radio show, and I don't want to miss that for anything. So, since the email had been replied to in ridiculous ways already, I figured I would take it a step further. It's a song parody to the tune of Minnie the Moocher. Here goes.
"Assistant Director" (To the tune of the classic "Minnie the Moocher.")
Now here's a story 'bout an Assistant Director,
You know his father was a coin collector,
He headed home for the holiday season,
To see all his friends... within reason.
Hi-de-hi-de-hi,
Ho-de-ho-de-ho-de-ho,
Hee-de-hee-de-hee,
Hi-de-hi-de-ho-ho-ho.
He'd love to attend this holiday gathering,
With joyful banter and lots of blathering,
But by the time you had this idea and cooked it,
This date was crossed out, he'd already booked it.

Ho-de-ho-de-ho-de-ho,
Hee-de-hee-de-hee,
Hi-de-hi-de-ho-ho-ho.
He has a friend who goes to Emerson College,
And now he'd like to give you all the knowledge
That this friend of his runs a radio station
That webcasts itself across the nation.

Hee-de-hee-de-hee,
Hi-de-hi-de-ho-ho-ho.
On December 18th, he is invited to be there,
And since he just wouldn't want to be a square,
He accepted, you'll be able to hear him
At WECB.com, even if you're not near him.
