Start of Term Welcome
My apologies for the lateness of my first entry, to whichever professor has been allocated the assessment of my on-line weblog. There were some administrative difficulties regarding my position and I now concede the position of Head Boy to Master Kit Newton. May he handle and serve the school and its students with the respect, duty and care it deserves.
This freedom from anticipated duties allows me the pleasure and comfort of being able to focus more fully upon my academic pursuits, and since I remain prefect, all of the amenities are still available to me to excel at that extra level, should I apply myself fully!
I had the misfortune to walk in on an intimately engaged couple in these nights passed in the prefects bathroom. Needless to say they were not prefects and they will be suitably punished, but it's still disturbing to think that people will allow their own lust and personal gratification sully the school's name and facilities. There are some things even House Elves hesitate to engage in scrubbing.
I shall not name names, but should it happen again I won't hesitate in doing so. It's something I'm going to bring up with the professors and my fellow prefects at the next full meeting of the school board. There has to be some kind of spell or enchantment to prevent such actions.
