Mona....a pain in the head

Sep 04, 2008 20:26

I am a sufferer or chronic headaches, mostly sinus or migraine.  Just for fun I like to name them:  Hurricane Hannah (sinus),  The Move (migraine), etc.  My current headache is named Mona.  It is currently a Catagory Three, which means I have pressure, pain, and want to sleep for the next 10 days.  It has the potential to increase to a Cat 5, where it will become Migraine Mona with sustained pain to the nth degree, nausea, and making me plead for people to knock me out.

Mona is our renter in our Bluff City house.  She was told in July that we would not be renewing her lease in September.  The gave a sob story about being pregnant (the irony here is that she works at a crisis pregnancy center), and Bill gave her til the end of Sept. in a good-faith agreement.  Today, while talking to Mona on the phone, and arranging to pick up her Sept. rent check, she told me that she has gestational diabetes and may have to be induced in 2 weeks.  Oh, AND she has been "trying to find a place, but just can't find anythingn."  Bullshit.  I can pick up today's paper and find several places.  She just wants to find another almost 2000 sq. ft. house with three bedrooms and 2 baths for $500 a month, and that's probably not going to happen.  We gave her the deal of the century, and she knows it.

Now, I'm not totally unsympathetic to her pregnancy plight, but I didn't get her pregnant, and that is her own problem to deal with.  I'm quite sure she's known about the gestational diabetes for some time,  so this should have been something she has been working to get figured out.  She's had since July to find  place, but no, she just sat there and got more pregnant, and pregnant women are prone to do.  (I'm not sure where the father is in all of this.) "You're just not going to put us out, are you?" she said.  I HATE it when people use a innocent child to get their way, which is totally what she is doing.

As I told Mona, her mother, and most of the free world, Chelsea is attending Bluff City Middle School on the promise that we will be back in the Bluff City house by Sept. 30.  If we are not in the house be then, she will have to attend the school in her zone.  Having to switch school and be pulled from her old friends AGAIN will be devestating to her, and I'm getting pissed off just typing this.
I am SO MAD RIGHT NOW, I CAN'T SEE STRAIGHT!!!!

We gave more than enough notice, we've been more than fair, and I want the woman, her mother, and her sister OUT OF MY HOUSE.

angry, renting, chelsea, mona
