Setting of Origin: Mezumaru spent most of his life at Mt. Nejireme in Japan’s Shiga prefecture, where he lived in the Gyūki Clan’s Mansion. As of chapter 21 he and Gozumaru are currently staying in the custody of the of the Nura Clan at its Main House in Ukiyoe Town, Tokyo.

Likes: Sweets, toys, Gozumaru (BFF), Gyuki (boss), his Clan, teasing others,… The easiest way to get on his good side is to impress him with your “fear” by being (a) badass (villain). Being part of the yōkai yakuza, Mezu’s got a thing for that kind of ‘a gangster’s honor‘. (But beware that he’s good at acting and not easily impressed.)
Dislikes: Being tricked, getting teased about his face, any enemy of the clan, onmyouji
What will incite emo? Nothing? Having something bad happen to Gozumaru or Gyūki won’t make him happy, though.
Rage? Real rage? Nothing. He’ll bare his fangs if he gets cornered/tricked in a really bad way, though.
NO U response? Stealing his skull. Commenting on his face. Antagonizing Gyūki-sama.
Maim/Murder/Death?: It’s pretty standard stuff that he’s used to. Personally he’s best at the “and you can’t even die!”-part of it.
Blood: You can finger-paint and scare people with it.
Anything for aura readers/reiatsu users/sixth sense folks to pick up: He’s young and yet old, relatively innocent/pure and yet an evil creature that’s wicked to the bone… The impressions Mezumaru gives off are probably pretty contradictory, just like the beauty of a spider’s net. I can imagine that his aura’s pretty blood-soaked or that there’s something equine or spider-y in an unsettling way about him?
