The reason why people fail instead of succeed is that they trade in what they want most for what they want at the moment
i hate having emotions. Especially not being able to control them. One minute i'm happy and joyful. And the next i'm sad and bitter. I can be thankful for what God has given me, yet frustrated as to why I want more. It can be so easy to just let what your feeling at the moment get in the way of what you truly desire. It can be so hard to know how you truly feel and what you should do, and seperate that from your gut instincts. Why trade in complete satisfaction for small satisfaction? How blinded can we get until we see the truth? Why do people have to be so complicated and make things harder, when it was so simple to begin with? Temptation is blinding. And its so easy to give in. Trusting in yourself only brings about more sin. Trusting in Christ is the only way to see what temptation disguised.
