today in psychology Mr. Hallett was talking about how when babies are born..they live on a 25 hour day instead of a 24 hour day...so thats why they always wake up in the middle of the night..they have to adapt to 24 hours...and he was saying how alot of ppl wanted to know if other genes get passed down from generation to generation then how come ( Read more... )

what you say is true, but what mr. hallett said isn't total BS either.
you have to open up your mind to different perspectives even if it's not what you believe. sure, men are aggressive because they want sex, but a factor in their aggressiveness may be their genes.
like gays -- is it how their brought up or their genes? huge debate, but a good argument to explore.

being gay isnt a gene...and its not some disorder or such..its sin..ppl who say they're gay are merely saying they're sinners...

its been scientifically proven that being gay is a gene defect. Now why sexual acts would be a sin on a gays part, actually BEING gay is out of there contol...and it has been proven. Someone in my family is gay, and he was gay before he was old enough to talk, hes now a full grown adult, and is not a sinner. Now should he decide to persue homosexual relationships....that would be a sin, however simply being gay is not. Thats like saying being black is a sin because well your white, so black to you just 'isnt normal'...its something out of your control...yet i could see where the confusion would come, many have a hard time beliving it is not a choice when they haven't had first hand experience ( ... )

woah lol...ok well first off
someone in my family is gay as well..and i love them dearly..
and ok so if they prove that being gay is a 'gene' then fine...but acting on that feeling towards the same sex is the sin.. and i do have rock hard evidence..and i get that evidence from God's Word..in 1cor. 6:9 it says "Do you not know that the unrigtheous will not inherit the kingdom of God, do not be decieve:neither the sexual immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,.." also in 1 timothy 1:10 it says it again. so I'm not just getting this information from my head. Its all from God. Also i'm not being a hyprocrit, i agree we are supposed to judge ourselves first, but all in all....we will ALL be judged by God one day...so why wouldnt i want to warn others before its too late. Also having Turners syndrome isnt the same as being gay at all...they have nothing in common.. you can believe what you want...but i'm gonna stick with what God says. lol

Katie i think you misunderstood me on the gay thing, i was sayign simply what your saying now. or maybe i misread it in the first place in which case im sorry but it did offend me in the way it was worded. i agree with you that being gay is NOT a sin (i had read what you wrote as to say that being gay IS a sin and its something that i am defensive about bc i know its not) but i also agree with you that engaging in homosexual acts IS a sin, that was not the point i was disputing. and as for with turner syndrome that was simply to further my point of it being a genetic defect...not a choice, that was its relation to this conversation ( ... )

Being gay is a sin. Not just having homosexual sex.

How is something you have no control over a sin? have you ever researched this topic? have you ever put it all together? the bible says you are not to commit homosexual acts, it never says you cannot be born homosexual
