Meet my buddy irony...

Short post today, folks. I was just wanting to comment on something that I've found to be particularly odd lately. Okay, I don't think I talked about it much, but I really wanted an on-campus job last year. If for nothing else, it would have really helped to have some extra money towards my school supplies and, yes, towards my classes as well. Well, I got one interview all dang year, and that was in the first semester. Needless to say, I didn't get the job, because no one at Mercer saw me running around in a Bearforce shirt, right? Well this semester, as you all know, I'm in California. I did manage to apply for a job before leaving, but that was it, I never did anything but apply. Well, check this out: I am continuously getting job offers from Mercer and companies that hire Mercerians. I think I got three just this week. That would be awesome, of course. IF I was in Macon! The worst part of this all is that, I'm pretty sure that, come January, when I actually resume my studies, this sudden pool of jobs will dry up completely. I'll just have to go another semester without campus employment. Much anger will result from this, but, as I've always said, I'm living proof that luck doesn't exist. Well, that's all, I'm done venting. Leave a comment on your way out, should the need strike you.
