Okay, I realize this is vastly overdue, but Chevron requested that I explain my LJ name a while back, and I decided that, having surplus time upon this merry Sunday, I would finally oblige. Anyway... let's see: Head of Flame -actually a forced modification of my originally intended name of Flamehead due to the fact that "Flamehead" was already taken- was inspired by a drawing I made several years ago. I remember the moment very well. I was at an MK (Missionary Kid for all of thee who's parents did not feel called to serve God overseas) home-schooler's workshop about electricity. It sounds boring, and it had it's share of those moments. However, the guy running the thing knew his stuff, and it actually was pretty cool. That said, one day, during one of the aforementioned boring moments, I was sitting there half-listening, working on a random drawing. As I recall it, I simply allowed the drawing to take shape as my inspiration moved me, which is to say I didn't set out with any plan whatsoever. It ended up being a pretty cool image of a head wreathed in flames, something like what I always imagine the balrogs from The Lord of the Rings to look like. I liked the image to such a degree that I chose to adopt it as my personal symbol, and I named this symbol the Flamehead. Anyway, sorry for the delayed response Chevron, and I hope that fully answers your question. Oh, and, no, I never was a fan in any form of Ghost Rider, having never read any of it.
