Not my week
Car will not get fixed til Monday/Tuesday. They neglected to mention how backed up they were before I had it towed there. I like and have used these guys a bit so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt this one time.
On the way to get my rental car I stopped for bagels - one of my crowns came out while eating said bagel. So waiting on an emergency dentist time slot.
Last and certainly least my favorite day/walkabout bag has had on of the main pocket zippers fail.
So now I need a a new bag. Looking for a messenger bike style but open to other ideas. I like lots of pockets, would be nice if the main pocket were padded but not a requirement. Needs to have an outside waterbottle pocket (insulated pocket even better). One pockets should have the traditional pen/key/small stuff dividers. My old bag is one of the old eagle creek daybags that they don't make anymore.
Ideas/pointers suggestions welcome.
I almost forgot that there was a couple nice things today! I got a free upgrade on my rental to a Prius. It is nice to be able to try one out. Also C's cunning plan to get us to Bethesda via Bus/Metro worked like a charm. (modulo the whole get up at 4:30 to make it work part) We did decide the later bus would have worked. My GF is a public transportation Ninja.
