- JB: With Braid, I had that game done, mechanically, in 2006: within eight months of starting development, you could play the whole thing. But the game came out over two years after that. I was just polishing it, making it look better, making it play better - even in the final game there are plenty of things I would have made better if I’d have had the time and money. I believe that was a significant factor in the game’s success - that I was willing to just sit there and work on it.
