For the second day in a row, I'm looking at my work calendar and scratching my head. I've been in massive overdrive for so long with stacks of work projects, that I'm not quite sure what to do with myself during this unexpected (but so appreciated) downtime. I'm kind of stuck until the latest client sends me feedback on what I sent her last week, so here I sit. I'm well aware of work ahead that is far more than I alone can handle, but as I would need access to client environments to even start to think about what those entail, I can't really begin on those. My manager is even off today, so I'm on my own to find things to do.
Hmm. I suppose I could do some prep for the next round of course materials revisions. Sigh. That doesn't sound like fun at all, but would give me some busywork, for sure.
In less boring (to me) news, this past weekend was good. Friday night was...uhh...groceries and laundry, I think. Saturday was homework and then dinner and the symphony with friends - so fun. :D And Sunday was a work day for LARP, followed by dinner and music at BB's with different friends. Yesterday morning, Chris headed for New Jersey for a few days of work, and last night he found his way to Carlo's Bakery (of Cake Boss fame.) He took a photo of a cannoli and declared it to be tasty. :)
Oh, and lo and behold, there's the feedback I've been waiting for. There's work to be done!
