Heartland Men's Chorus Concert - March 28 & 29
Hey all, here's a PSA I think you'll enjoy, should you be able to attend. The Heartland Men's Chorus is having their spring concert on March 28 & 29 at the Folly Theatre in KC. Their director is also now the director of the KC Women's Chorus that I'm a part of, and we in the women's chorus are doing all we can to support them, just as they support us. The focus of their concert is on civil rights, encompassing everything from the women's right to vote, to the anniversary of MLK Jr's I Have a Dream speech to the anniversary of the Stonewall Inn riots (homosexual equality.)
It's sure to be an emotionally moving event, so if you're able to attend, please order tickets and go! :)
