This is my first introduction in a fan fiction writer community

1. Are you a writer, beta or cheerleader? I’m a writer primarily.

2. Will you be working on a single project or multiple projects? Does project mean story? I try to work on one fan fiction at a time.

3. Are you participating in any fests, exchanges or challenges? Not at the moment.

4. What is your goal (wordcount) per month? I don’t have a wordcount goal per month. I write my rough draft in person, and my goal is write at least one third of a page every day. The longest I kept this project going is nearly 8 months, but that was a couple of years ago. Now that I’ve graduated I’d like to continue this project though.

5. What are your project(s) about? (If it's a secret, we understand) I have the beginning of a weird H/D fanfic. Its working title is “Hogwarts’ Knight Bus For the Troubled.” It’s about post-war Harry’s knight bus picking up 14, 15 and 16y/o Draco Malfoy. It’s as if the knight bus sometimes goes back in time because Draco during his 4th, 5th, and 6th year sometimes needs shelter, since his home is infested by Voldemort’s allies. This thing, Voldemort setting up HQ in Malfoy manor, made me think that Draco's arrongance could have been a facade to hide his growing uncertainty and horror for Voldermort and his followers. By discovering this, Harry would then find Draco-in-the-present and have a heart-felt conversation with him. I still have to work out how romanticism fits this outline. I know, it sounds so weird.

6. Is there anything else you want us to know about you? I’m used to work alone so please excuse my ignorance of the workings of fan fiction communities in LJ. I’m curious about how this works, how is it possible to write in a community, what am I supposed to do here, etc. So please talk to me as if this were the first LJ fan fiction writer community I'd like to join because it’s absolutely true.
