“Are you trying to tell me that you wanted them to blow up about it? Be shocked, ashamed, throw you out of the family?” Scorpius asked him. Albus could tell he was joking, but in all honesty, Albus didn’t think the situation was funny.
He’d planned this conversation so carefully, thinking of dozens of responses he could imagine he’d get, but he’d never considered this one. That they’d known.
“I thought I was so discreet about it.” Albus said, still reeling from the shock. “I thought that even if they’d be okay with me being gay, they’d have something to say about me dating you. No offence, Score.”
Scorpius just snickered, running his fingers through Albus’s hair, knowing that the movement would be somewhat soothing.
