I absolutely adored this story! I especially love this kind of characterization of Draco - secretly vulnerable and longing for Harry, fiercely proud, grown up and sexy and snarky as hell. And the whole business with Scorp and Al, which I must say that I suspected... And Neville figuring it all out! And the Headmistress catching Draco and Harry and thinking it was Al and Scorp had me howling with laughter. I could almost feel their humiliation... *lol* And Harry's realization about the reason behind the rumours of his homosexuality was both bittersweet and oddly amusing. Wonderful use of the prompt, also. And the sex was HAWT!!!

awwww!!!! see, i was so happy to see a fic in which harry and draco both teach at hogwarts, and your story even exceeded my expectations! your take on "draco's been in love with harry for years" was so well done--i felt for draco all the way, esp. when to harry their fling is only a way to forget at first. the conversation in draco's office at the end brought a smile to my face, esp. the lines about "well, how many harry potters do you know?". hee!

also, i totally didn't expect the al/scorpius. in fact, i thought to myself, oh, someone's not taking the "al and scorpius as best friends" route, how interesting! so i was really surprised when harry and draco get caught and the headmistress thinks it's their sons. also, asp is perhaps the best nickname i have come across in a fic so far.

i also loved your neville. really, this story is most satisfying from beginning to end :D

*beams* I'm so glad you liked it! Of course, I had a suspicion you might, given other fics you've liked in the past. ;)

I realized going into the fest that I'd never written a serious professors!fic before, and even though it's kind of a cliche by now, I found myself really, really wanting to revisit the theme now that canon is closed. I admit, I'm very relieved that people on the whole responded positively to it, rather than pointing fingers and accusing, "Cliche! For shame!" :)

OMG, I loved this story. It's... Hogwarts Drarry all over again (times two, yay for the bits of Drarry jr!) I adored this fic.

Loved it :D
It had a tiny bit of a clumsy start but by the time Draco walked into picture I was well and truly engrossed and soon enough at the edge of my seat and loving every second of this. You kept your cards expertly to yourself so each new twist struck me completely by surprise - AS/S existence, Diagon Alley sighting actually being AS/S (great plot device), Draco actually wanting Harry for years, this casual fling being a pretty certain way for Draco to get his heart broken but him still doing it because he just wanted a taste of it... my heart so went to Draco through all this - he did foolishly risk his heart, but never his pride. Apologies for the incoherence of this comment - I'm still under influence of this and will probably be for quite a while yet :)

Smex was the I-think-I'll-need-to-change-my-knickers kind (best kind there is). So guh worthy and yet very pivotal to the story. This shall be reread, oh yes. Thank you so much for writing this!

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm really pleased that the fic worked for you, on the whole. And I'm very flattered by your last observation, as I'm not a writer who's generally known for "smex," so I'm especially glad to know you enjoyed that aspect. ;)
