I have to tell you that the Australian sections represent everything I love about Australia, too. The first time I went tramping, my brain nearly exploded.
All the mythology bits are either true or have a basis in fact. The smoking is a common cleansing rite, and there are bunyips in all the most reputable waterholes. Let me tell you about dropbears some time ...
You may move over as soon as you like. In many ways it's a lot like England, but with more humour, sunshine and seafood.

The places, the people - the way you managed to write Harry and Draco so well and yet still do the best development I've seen yet on Neville and Hannah, Kingsley, Minerva and others...
You've set up so many interesting threads in the space of a one-shot story that I'd truly love to see an expansion of this universe if you should ever feel so inclined... but this also stands well alone as a completed piece, so either way is good.

(And thank you very much for providing the model for your eponymous OC!)
I hate to say it but there will probably be more, which only adds to the huge pile of unfinished work that glares at me daily. But I will cry if I miss the chance to see Draco try surfing or look with horror at a Chiko roll ...

EDIT: Just wonderful. Gorgeous. I loved this so much. And I know that some consider it bad form to shout sequel, but this left me breathless and I'm sure I won't be alone in saying that a teensy epilogue someday would be most welcome.
Did I mention I loved this??? There was so much subtle humor, and the post-battle details were so well thought out and seamless. Completely believable. Draco's transition was fantastic. I loved this.

There may have been the tiniest amount of jumping.
And yes, at some point there will be a sequel. Not soon, but eventually. I'll try very hard to remember to come back and drop you a note when it's done. Thanks again!

SO GLAD you lived again, I could not have had your death on my conscience. I had a horrible few months when I was meant to be writing this, and yours was one of the comments that made me feel as though I had not wholly wasted my time. By the end of reading your comment I was smiling broadly and feeling as though I had really spoken to someone exactly as I meant to. Thank you so much for your generosity in taking the time to leave this comment, I cannot tell you how appreciated it really was, and is!
