Why I loved it: Oh my god, guys. I first saw this on tumblr yesterday when this was first posted, and it has gotten over 18,000 notes in the 36 hours since then. It's just amazing. I then posted about it to my personal LJ, but storyroom gets many more visitors, and I think this needs more exposure!
It is not based on any existing fanfic. Here's the author's note on that:
