I want you to know that the last four toothbrushes I've bought have been blue.

Ah, youuuu. ::flails::

I am flattered, and also both amused and comforted that I'm not the only person who lets fic influence little things in their lives like this. <3

This is a beautiful rec. One of these days I'm going to have to gather my courage and read this fic. I'm just so scared! I know I will love it because I love firethesound's writing, but I also know I will be an emotional wreck at the end. But I need to read it, and your rec might help give me the push to do so.

Thank you!
I feel you. One needs their courage for this one. But it's so worth it and I'm sure you're gonna love it.

I was terrified to read it, and I finally did about two months after she first posted it.

You will be a mess. It's unavoidable. If you've lost anyone in your life, this is going to bring all of that up. I've never in my 11 years of fandom read a fic that affected me the way hers did. But I don't regret reading it at all. It just made me love the boys that much more.

I'm such a wuss. I do this with movies too, but it's worse if it involves children--I simply *cannot* watch a movie or read a book that where the plot involves the death of a child. While I can watch movies and read stories where adults die tragically, it still affects me a lot. There was a movie many years ago--One True Thing--where Meryl Streep played a mother dying of cancer. I even saw it with my mom (who is still alive) but man, I was a wreck after that.

Sorry for the digression :) But yes, I will read this fic. I will. I just can't do it quite yet. It does help to know how highly recommended this fic is.
