Why I loved it: This is a wonderful story that has stuck with me long after I first read it. I often think back to it as one of the greatest Harry/Draco stories I’ve read. It’s the type of story that is so captivating that I just had to read it all in one go and then read it again.
The basic premise of the story is that Harry and Draco end up trapped together on an isolated island, caring for a baby dragon; what could be better? In it Draco is sort of a veela anthropologist, so it has this wonderful scientific aspect to it and a sense of discovery. But Draco is also a male veela himself, which gives it a personal feel. And on top of that there is male pregnancy and rediscovering ancient rituals, bringing in the sense of magic. This is truly a wonderful story and a must read.
