very lovely. i really enjoyed the style and the pace, and the premise was definitely an interesting one. i'm so happy it ended the way it did. i was worried i was going to have to cry. *g*

Thank you :)
I have to admit I considered them dying, but then I realized it would have been awful of me when I had a good alternative :)

This was a great short mystery story. The draining of the magic was really unique and quite creepy. Going on without the others must have been horrible. Draco doing what he did to force Harry to move on cruel but necessary.

Thank you :)

I hadn't expected you'd think it creepy, but at least I know I got the feeling that something wasn't right across :)

That was creepy, and I liked the overall tone of the story and the journal entries a lot. The plot and atmosphere made me think of Lord of the Flies and Lost (never saw Lost, but heard bits).

The relation to Hogwarts was very light, but it didn't bother me much, because I enjoyed the fic. I was very happy that Draco and the others didn't die in the end.

Thank you :)

I had considered showing a bit more of their time there, but a bit would have asked for more descriptions and character development and that would have lead to a 20k story :)

I haven't thought of Lord of the Flies and I haven't seen more than a couple of scenes from Lost. What I used as inspiration was an article about that region from National geographic and the images there made the scenery clear in my head, and the scenery and the world from the island is what shaped the story in the end.

That was so unusual. Gorgeous style and quite intense with the emotions. I had to read the part three times to get that Draco died and I guess I was expecting it but it still hit like a hammer. At that point I was wondering how the story was going to be H/D lol. But it was very well done, I enjoyed reading it.

Thanks so much for being part of the fest!

Thank you very much :)

It was the first time I 'killed' one of them and it was difficult to write that scene ^_^
