I loved this. Loveloveloveloved this. I've been waiting for a nice long H/D fic that I could really sink my teeth into, and this was perfect! In my mind, if there was any other way Harry's Seventh Year was going to pan out, this is it for definite.

In my mind you had exactly the right balance between romance(/smut) and plot. I loved how you had Harry back talking to the Carrows, much like he was to Snape during his Sixth Year. This was so IC for me, I loved it. Plus, I like how you linked Deathly Harrows canon to this. :)

I really enjoyed this fic, it was well written and well thought out and absolutely lovely! ♥

If only this was the was Harry's Seventh Year had played out! The camping trip of doom was a little disappointing, wasn't it? Having Harry at Hogwarts again would have been so much better.

The Harry/Carrows interactions were so much fun to write, I can't even tell you. I'm glad you enjoyed reading them as much as I did writing them! Harry's such a smart-arse, isn't he? And the smut - well, you know how much I like that. ;)

Thank you so much! This was my first attempt at plot, so I'm very happy you liked it.

I can only echo the previous reviews, this is an excellent story. This felt like canon and a wonderful glimpse into the reign of terror that was that last year. I loved seeing how distressed Draco was at what he was being made to do and the way he was being dragged under the influence of the Horcrux. The sex was wonderfully hot and the the characterisations of all of them excellent. This is definitely one of my faves from the fest, thank you so much for writing it.

Thank you! Creating a realistic alternative to canon was definitely one of my goals, so I am very happy to hear you thought it felt like canon and that everyone was in character. This was such a great fest to take part in, thank you for having me and thank you so much for your lovely comment!

I can't help thinking that THIS should have been book 7. Wonderful job and extremely entertaining. Also, it was a very convincing build-up to the Harry/Daco relationship.

Oh, if only this had been (similar to) book 7! I'd much rather have seen Harry back at Hogwarts than off on the camping trip of doom.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this, and that you thought the Harry/Draco relationship was convincing - that makes me extremely happy to hear. :D Thank you so much!
