Very nicely written and very engaging. I was as interested in the mystery as I was in the developing H/D relationship, and the first person pov was wonderful in allowing us to really understand where Harry was coming from.

I'm ridiculously late in saying so, but thank you for reading and reviewing my HD Hols fic. I'm so glad the mystery was interesting, and that the first person POV worked for you. It seemed a more natureal fit for that kind of story, kwim? I know it can be off-putting, though, so I appreciate your positive comments about it.

Thanks again for reading, and for taking the time to comment! :)

Ahhh, I did love this story. :) You surprised me with both Dennis and Draco, haham, not very observant, am I? heh. Although when you exposed it, I was like 'duh, of course'.

You lie! You almost had it figured out form the start.

I am so late, but I did want to thank you for commenting. You'd already beta'd it, handheld me, talked me off the ledge and kicked my ass when it was needed, yet you still took the time to review.

You're a one of a kind, m'dear, and I'm very grateful to have you for a friend. ♥

What a fun read! Personally I usually don't like the first person's PoV but in this story I liked it. It brought us a better view of Harry's thoughts and made the story much funnier. Really enjoyed this one!

I am so incredibly late responding to your comments, but thank you for reading and reviewing my HD Hols fic. I'm really glad you had fun with it! I'm glad the pov worked for you, too. It seemed a natural fit for the mystery genre, but I know it's not a popular style. I'm glad it brought more enjoyment into it for you.

Thanks again for reading, and for commenting. :)

i've somehow gotten on a first person pov reading spree. nicely done. liked your alcohol-medicated!harry and your mature!draco. i too was caught unawares by both dennis and draco's issues in the story (but also went, 'doh!' when you revealed.

nice job of having the malfoys not know the current ways of things too.

a good read.

I'm late, really late, but thank you for reading and reviewing my HD Hols fic. You're always so supportive, and I appreciate it.

I'm glad the mystery was a twist for you, and that my versions of Harry and Draco were likable. They're both changed by their experiences, as are we all as we grow up. I wanted to show that they'd both been scarred by the war, yet the "weak" one persevered while the hero kind of fell apart and needed help to find himself again. That's so much more interesting than what we'd expect, right?

Thanks again for reading, and for your kind comments. :)
