Just terrific. I love how none of it is easy and how their issues never go away. This Harry could make anyone smile. Loved it.

Thank you. I was probably pretty worried that maybe things seemed to easy, so I'm glad you don't think so.

Wow. This was wonderful, Mystery Author. Slow and steady, just like Harry's determination. I love your skittish Draco, reluctantly trusting, and Harry's casual steadiness, and that both of them are adult enough to understand that sometimes you just have to go after what you truly want.

Lovely indeed.

*grins so hard it hurts her face* It's funny how one never really thinks about one's fic in these words exactly, but then it just makes so much sense to hear someone else say it. Thank you so much.

What a great dynamic between the two of them. It was outstanding. I can definitely see this as a direction they both go. You did a terrific job explaining the dynamic behind their sexual experience, too, which I don't see very often. It gave it meaning to me.

That's probably one of the single nicest things anyone has ever said about my writing. Writing sex can be so complicated when you are trying to get something across and the fact that it worked for you?

Serious, serious thanks.

I love this Draco - I mean I really, really love him. He's not quite canon ... but then he wouldn't be after they messed with his head. He's got a completely captivating lost quality, like he's finding out who he is at the same time we are. This is me trying to articulate *why* I liked your Draco ... but there's no need to overanalyse it. This story just *worked*.

The innocence of icecream was a wonderful image to link it all together. You must have had moments where you wondered if it was too much, too sweet, but it never goes too far, and you have a way of balancing the sweetness perfecly with acid dialogue. That's what stands out the most for me: the dialogue. There were so many clever and fun and touching exchanges that I can hardly separate out where one ends and the next begins. I love Harry's conversation with Zacharias in St Mungos. This one, from the very end, was especially elegant and absolutely heart-breakingly beautiful.

*loves you back* (Also, your icon? Awesome.)

Embarrasing as it is to admit, it is so beautiful to have someone quote you back to yourself in a good way. It makes me happy.

Fabulous! I loved the dialogue in the end. :D

"What do you do with all the ice cream that doesn't get eaten?"

I want to know that too! :D

At first, Draco totally gorged himself every night. Then his aversion to ice cream came along and, erm. I dunno. Maybe he donates it to the ragamuffin children hanging out three blocks over in Knockturn...

*snorts*

Thanks.
