That was nice, I love a bit of mystery in a fic. Petunia's change of heart was a pleasant surprise. Glad that Harry and Draco saved each other!

Heh, I didn't think it was much of a mystery, as I'm terrible at subtlety, but I'm glad that you liked it!

Thank you so very much, Mystery Author!

I'm a little shaky as I'm writing this, so forgive me if I ramble or don't make any sense...

Firstly, the idea of Draco falling prey to drink literally broke my heart. It's far too personal to discuss here, but I'll just say that alcoholism had a huge impact on my childhood. So you had my heart in a vice from the very beginning - in a very, very good way!

Ellie's character filled me with all kinds of warm-fuzziness. Actually, I could see a lot of myself in her. :)

The use of Draco's addiction as a tool to get him to own up to past mistakes and force himself to seek forgiveness was sheer brilliance!

I loved the entire mystery! I was cheering Draco on the entire way, willing him to not give up! I could really feel Draco's frustration at not being able to rescue Harry while in the "other-world."

Also, I must sincerely thank you for not making Ron an angry, unforgiving idiot. I loved the way you made the "truce" between him and Draco so believable ( ... )

Thanks so much for your lovely words! I'm glad that the alcoholism part didn't bother you, but it seemed like a really effective way to get Draco to the place where I wanted him to be, as well as providing a good excuse to make him seek out the Golden Trio to offer apologies.

I'm not a big fan of OC's, usually, in either reading or writing, but that's because I never think that I write them well, so I'm happy that you liked Ellie!

I like Ron, so I had to make him be a grown-up here, after that one punch that he couldn't resist, naturally!

I'm elated that you liked the gleaming in the moonlight bit, which was completely inspired by your prompt, so I'm glad that worked for you. :)

It was completely my pleasure to write this for you and I am thrilled beyond words that you enjoyed it so!

Good God! This was amazing! I loved, loved, loved it! I realy like how you ignored canon from HBP onwards (the weaker of the books imo)but it doesn't take anything away from it. I love how it's all from Draco's pov and you get the impression of his longing. And Petunia? WOW! I can't believe he had to basically rape Harry in order to get him back. And most of all I ADORED the happy ending...it was marvallous!

Wow, thank you so much for your enthusiastic response...you make me blush! I love writing a story all from one character's POV; makes it a little more real in some ways, I think. I kinda worried that the 'cure' would be a little squicky for some, which is why I tried to make it very clear that Draco was really uncomfortable with what he was having to do.

And I have a really hard time writing a story that doesn't have a happy ending...the majority of my stories do!
