I like the painterly look to this and the harsh contrast between light and dark. We really don't see many fanworks cross over into fine art. Nice work:-)

Thanks! I did try to make this more cartoon-like at first, but it didn't turn out very well. So I started from scratch again and ended up with this. I'm glad you like it!

Thank you! I've always been into fine arts, using natural media to capture somewhat realistic details...and I've been experimenting lately with some general illustrational fanart drawing...which hasn't gone too well. Still, experimenting is a good thing. =)

Beautiful!! They both look really happy and comfortable with each other and the contrast of light and dark really adds drama to the piece.

Thanks, dear! I gotta say...light and dark contrast is ridiculously difficult capture. But it's not impossible. Just takes a bit long to get just right.
