You have NO idea how much I love this story! I almost posted earlier at accio_hd to ask whether there were any stories where Harry or Draco were Unspeakables, and then this story was posted! It's - karma, or serendipity or something!

What a wonderful, intriguing story! I couldn't stop reading, even though it's 3 am and I'm really supposed to be working. Or sleeping. But this! This was so good, and so involving, and layered, and of course we could tell that Rabbit was Draco, but Harry couldn't, he wouldn't have expected it at ALL, and oh, God, when he told Rabbit, toward the end, that Draco didn't mean anything to him, my heart just went into my throat. And stayed there! But then you made it all better. Whew.

And the sex! So intimate and real and so much more than mere sex, even if Harry didn't want to admit that to himself. Hnnngg.

I could read this one again and again. And probably will.

I love Unspeakables! They're not really explained in the books, so I really like seeing different explanations of what it is, exactly, they do.

The hardest part about writing this fic was making sure the reader knew what Harry didn't. I'm glad the worked for you--though sorry it prevented you from work!

Thanks so much for your lovely comment!

I love this fic so much! I just couldn't stop reading it. The whole thought of secret agents is absolutely awesome, and your delivery of it was perfect. I loved the wizarding versions of Muggle devices!

My heart broke when Harry told Rabbit that Draco meant nothing to him :( but you made it all better, so I'll forgive you.

The sex between Harry and Draco was so...real. And hot. The made up story when they're waiting for the Russians to finish was brilliant! The tea routines were fab; I love the boys fixating on tea! So so many more little bits I could say, but I'd be here forever.

I just could (and will) reread this story over and over again. Fab job.

Thank you again, so so much for the beta. You really helped me out--even though I ended up messing up the Dictus charm incantations again. I really did go through and fix it, but ended up changing things and it got messed up again. I'll have to fix it before reposting it anywhere.

I'm so glad the magic versions of spy gadgetry worked for you! I really wanted to do more of them, it was so fun, but do you really need an exploding pen when you have a wand? *contemplates*

Thank you so much for your help, your willingness to do so sort of at the eleventh hour, and for all your lovely comments. You rock my socks.

My brain is goo now. It's late and I'm so, so tired but I just had to tell you how lovely this was before I passed out. Also, every time Harry almost had his 'Aha!' moment, I was right there with him, on the edge of my seat, thinking, 'Yes, yes, for the love of all that is holy, this is it!' and then he'd remember that he'd told the same to Malfoy and I'd just deflate completely. Well done, you, for planning it out right. It was so hurty in all the right places because even though I knew Rabbit was Malfoy and Malfoy was Rabbit, I was rooting for Malfoy, damn it. The Patronus changing was just... god, it made my whole body ache because Malfoy wasn't winning, wasn't going to win, and there was nothing for it. And it was good news but it wasn't and it made me want to break stuff because I knew - in that moment - that it was going to be Rabbit until Harry knew it wasn't Rabbit and I hated to love that so much.

"It was actually more upsetting that Harry didn’t know whether Malfoy liked tea or not than it was worrying that he might ( ... )

Thank you so much!

it was going to be Rabbit until Harry knew it wasn't Rabbit

I think Harry is very stubbornly loyal, and I wanted to examine someone who was loyal in that way with their heart, but not their body. I think for some people that can work okay, but for Harry it really doesn't. It really would have been a terrible thing for him if Rabbit had not been Draco; he pretty much would've been torn in two!

before he makes the connection, that he should have taken Malfoy out and given him a chance

This story was supposed to be about prejudices--many different kinds of them, but two of them were a relatively simple prejudice about appearance, vs a far more complex prejudice about previous conceptions. I wanted Harry realizing that Rabbit was Malfoy to be a part of getting over the latter, but for Harry to begin to see glimmers of it before all is revealed. I'm glad that came through.

I still wish he had walked away, if only for a month or so but as a very smart witch once said, "Love makes you do the wacky." And, yes, I ( ... )
