OH. MY. GOD. You amazing anonymous thing, you! THANK YOU, SO MUCH. I have so many meta thoughts about this, in the way that only delicious angst can produce:

The contrast between Draco's memories and the present was so expertly done. The memories felt just like that, memories; there was a sort of stillness to them, like, the pacing was exactly right. Not too slow as to feel explanatory, and not too fast as to feel unauthentic. Just, a sort of angsty sense of Draco making peace with his past, and casting it aside so he could live in the present, you know?

And then the fight scenes! So visceral, it truly felt like Draco had this kind of urgency to his actions, like he was rushing and fighting because otherwise he would be lost to his own mind. GUH. Even the sex was rushed, and I mean that in the best way possible, of course ( ... )

This was such a good read! I loved every bit of it, with it's slight humour and intense action. And how actions can speak louder than words, and how Draco lives by one line of advice from Harry to make something for himself.

I also think the past and present really tie in well together to tell this story after the war. It's perfect, and it really gives us an isight of what Draco has been doing and how he has been feeling. I'm just glad that he was able to find Harry again, and that they both were able to figure out a lot of unspoken things that needed to be resolved. They share more in common than they think. Love for you and these boys! Thanks for sharing! ♥

That was intense.

I was literally on the edge of my seat most of the way through it, and not so much from the fight scenes as the emotional rollercoaster the story gave us.

Both Draco and Harry found ways to cope with the emotional and spiritual aftermath of the war, and the ways you chose to have them do that made total sense. I love that Draco was the one who got to Harry, and the part where he told him he didn't want a 'piece of him', but all of him, just put my heart in my throat.

Really well-crafted, this story, and a truly excellent read.
