That was so bloody amazing! Beautiful and heartfelt, and funny, and hot. Everyone was so wonderfully IC (I especially loved Snape, both as a portrait and after he was brought back to life). I'm so impressed by the way you showed how they'd evolved from the star-crossed, horny boys they were at school, to the men they became. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

A wonderful story. There were a lot of amusing moments, and I liked that we saw most of the characters popping in and out. I wasn't sure about the quick way Harry and Draco resumed their relationship, since it seemed in the beginning it would take a lot more. Also, sometimes I found the tone hard to place, I wasn't sure whether the story was aiming for humourous or angsty or what I should be feeling at some point. However, I really did enjoy it, and I think there are some lovely, lovely scenes here. Good stuff!

The first part was definitely angsty, as the recipient requested older Harry and Draco but wanted them to have had a past relationship - a relationship that must have failed.

Wow, that was like three stories in one! ♥ The Phoenix mystery was really absorbing, life twenty-three years on was so rich and well explored - James, particularly, bless his cotton socks! And yay for Harry and Draco's reunion - but I think my favourite part was their first relationship and their break-up. So raw, intense, dysfunctional, passionate and painful. And HOT. The groans and creaking bed...GUH, and it seems I have such a miscommunication kink, how they understand one another on one level but so crap on another *g*

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this; at points, my husband began to give me funny looks, as I was helplessly giggling out loud. Though Hermione seemed to be suspiciously absent, taking children on terribly long trips... admit it: you had to get rid of her so the mystery wasn't solved immediately! But this wasn't just fun, I also found Harry and Draco's reconnecting quite touching (and yay for older yet still sexy). Thanks for sharing your story with us!
