I was so loving all the little pieces you'd assembled and the delicate way you were handling things, that I actually exclaimed "no!" when the page wouldn't scroll any further and I realised I'd reached the end.

A really lovely fic. The little touches of humour and emotion are great, and Harry's perspective is wonderfully written. There's a real impression of him and of his world, and the writing manages to be sort of gently squee-inducing without being at all sappy. It's subtle, just giving us what there is as it is.

It's really nicely measured and was a delight to read. The anonymous thing is a bugger at times like these - I want more!

It didn’t keep him from feeling cheated when he realized that they had their jobs and each other and a nice flat with bright curtains in the windows, and he was stuck defending his schoolboy rival in a criminal case where nearly all the cards were stacked against him while living with said rival in a dank old house full of Dark objects which still periodically tried to eat him.
You did a great job of showing Harry's loneliness and isolation, despite the fact that everyone thought that he had most everything he wanted (a job he loved and his best friends close at hand). I always think that one of the greatest dynamics that pulls Draco and Harry together is that it's easy to imagine each of them as very isolated souls (although they are isolated for different reasons). Their need for human contact, and for each other is really palpable here. The scene wherein Harry comes home early from the party and finds Draco sitting in the kitchen just staring into his tea was particularly poignant ( ... )

That's the end? That's it? *sobs uncontrollably* But what happens?!?

*deep breath* As you can see, I enjoyed it very much and would so like to see the remainder a sequel. Please.

I loved this. It was desperate and angsty and lovely. I am definitely seeing a future where Harry gets Draco aquitted and shows him exactly how to live, while enjoying life more himself :D hehe. Brilliant.

How lovely! I loved your Draco, so broken and despairing and hopeless. And Harry, always fighting so hard, still struggling to really let people in, losing himself in his work as he looks for purpose and meaning in his life. The pair of them are gorgeous. I like how they are each so isolated, each so lost. I like that in coming together, they don't find all the answers right away but they do find hope.

And mmm, scorching hot kiss. I love love love first kisses between the boys and this one was fabulous.

Wonderful fic!
