It was the most intimate moment of his life and he was sharing it with him. Him of all people, along with these particularly unattractive circumstances; coming out of the burning room with death staring him in the face.
Having never been hugged by his parents and never allowing himself to be embraced by girls, this was the closest he’d ever been to a person in his life.
Draco held Harry so tightly it hurt, and despite the fact he’d spent seven years hating every inch of Potter, he knew, in this moment, that he never wanted to let go.
